The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is based on an innovative monocoque made from carbon-fiber that combines exclusive lightweight technology. This makes the Aventador a jump of two generations in terms of design and technology. Brand traditions can be easily seen when the doors open upward. That feature was first introduced in the Countach and then in Diablo, and Murciélago.
The designers in the Centro Stile Lamborghini have been inspired by a modern aeronautics. The exterior and interior feature maximum functionality and spectacular sharpness. For example the surface of the top has a new geometry that provides greater spaciousness for the passengers, and a better aerodynamic coefficient.
The heart of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is the new V12 power
unit. Each kilogram of engine weight corresponds to 3.0 HP maximum output. The
crankcase on the new power train is made from an aluminum-silicon alloy. Every
engine is assembled by hand.
Another key element for maximum vehicle performance is the transmission. The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is equipped with an innovative ISR transmission that is one of the world's fastest automated manual gearboxes. Additionally it features a suspension that assures perfect balance between race-car feel, comfort, and lateral stability for absolute safety at every speed.
