The 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 will be a new, smaller twin-turbo V-8 for with a consumption reduced by 40 percent compared to the W-12–powered vehicles. It will cruise 500 miles on a tank of gas. The Continental GT V-8 coupe will have 12 percent less power and 6 percent less torque than the 12-cylinder model.

2013 Bentley Continental GT V8: Performance
The new model of the Continental range will be powered by a direct-injected 500-hp, 4.0-liter turbocharged V-8 powertrain. It’s built by Audi. The new Bentley will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and it will reach top speed of 185 mph. The engine is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission that enhances the vehicle’s agility.
The Continental GT V8 also feature a clever thermal management, reduced drag, less weight, energy recovery under braking, more efficient power steering and lower-rolling-resistance tires.

The main highlights of the Continental GT V8 exterior are red badges, the new front airdam, a different wheels, a black-gloss mesh grille, a new three-segment lower-front-bumper design, and a double-oval exhaust tailpipes.
